A small gesso & gilt framed watercolour portrait of an early nineteenth century lady. Un-researched, unknown sitter and artist. Watercolour under glass. Age related dust under the glass and chips to the gesso. Her wide eyes follow you around the room. She’s obviously looking for a new home.
