Publishers 1st edition red cloth with gilt lettering. Hand cut pages. Black and white illustrations, including reproduced hand written letter.  Some foxing. Heavy shelf-wear to boards. Board inner paper liner split from spine front and back. Contemporary pencil inscription. Visible corner bumping and noticeable scuffing to edges. Spine ends are crushed and slightly split. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall.
