The Laughing Cavalier by Frans Hals - 1624 was one of the first old masters to be reproduced as a print for display in Victorian homes. This fantastic example of a Victorian era Laughing Cavalier is in amazing condition. The very heavy and ornate gilt and gesso frame is solid in its construction, and in good condition. This print was the 'Green Lady' of the Victorian period, and very popular. A fabulous interior design piece for the home or commercial setting.
